Local Planning Committee (LPC) Meeting 5
The Village of Cazenovia will hold the fifth meeting of the Local Planning Committee on Tuesday, November 17th, 2026 from 4pm-6pm in Village Hall (90 Albany Street, Cazenovia, NY). LPC 5 will consist of discussions about submitted projects.
LPC Meetings are scheduled for the fourth Tuesday of each month through December 2026.

Community Invited to Attend Public Meeting #2 to Review Projects Submitted for the Village of Cazenovia Downtown Revitalization Initiative
The Village of Cazenovia is hosting a second public workshop for the Downtown Revitalization Initiative (DRI) to collect public feedback on proposed projects for inclusion in the DRI Strategic Investment Plan. The public workshop will take place on Tuesday, November 10th at the American Legion Post (26 Chenango Street) from 5:30 – 7:00 pm. The workshop will begin with a brief presentation overviewing the DRI program and the submitted projects. After the presentation, meeting attendees will be invited to participate in an open house to review the proposed projects and provide feedback. The Village encourages participants of all ages to attend to help shape Cazenovia’s future. Kids' activities and light refreshments will be available.
For those unable to attend the workshop, an online survey will be available on November 10th to collect feedback on the proposed projects.
Small Project Fund Expression of Interest
The Village of Cazenovia is soliciting applications for the Small Project Fund. Projects that have a total project cost of $100,000 or less should complete and submit a Small Project Fund Application during the Open Call for Projects as an expression of interest. What is the Downtown Revitalization Initiative?
The Village of Cazenovia is a recipient of the Round 9 Downtown Revitialization Initiative (DRI) from New York State.
New York State's Downtown Revitalization Initiative is a cornerstone of the State's economic development program. The DRI transforms downtown neighborhoods into vibrant centers that offer a high quality of life and are magnets for redevelopment, business, job creation, and economic and housing diversity. These compact, walkable downtowns are a key ingredient to helping New York State rebuild its economy from the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic, as well as to achieving the State’s bold climate goals by promoting the use of public transit and reducing dependence on private vehicles.
The DRI is led by the Department of State, in close partnership with Empire State Development, NYS Homes and Community Renewal and New York State Energy Research and Development Authority.
