Local Planning Committee (LPC) Meeting 3
The Village of Cazenovia will hold the third meeting of the Local Planning Committee on Tuesday, September 22nd, 2026 at 4pm-6pm in Village Hall (90 Albany Street, Cazenovia, NY). The meeting includes a presentation from the project team, followed by a public comment period.
LPC Meetings are scheduled for the fourth Tuesday of each month through December 2026. These meeting dates are subject to change.

Public Workshop 1
Public Workshop 1 was held on August 4th, 2026 from 5:30pm-7pm at Cazenovia Public Library (100 Albany Street, Cazenovia, NY). The public workshop began with a short presentation followed by interactive activities that will help shape the vision and goals for the DRI.

Open Call for Projects

Small Project Fund Expression of Interest
The Village of Cazenovia is soliciting applications for the Small Project Fund. Projects that have a total project cost of $100,000 or less should complete and submit a Small Project Fund Application during the Open Call for Projects as an expression of interest. What is the Downtown Revitalization Initiative?
The Village of Cazenovia is a recipient of the Round 9 Downtown Revitialization Initiative (DRI) from New York State.
New York State's Downtown Revitalization Initiative is a cornerstone of the State's economic development program. The DRI transforms downtown neighborhoods into vibrant centers that offer a high quality of life and are magnets for redevelopment, business, job creation, and economic and housing diversity. These compact, walkable downtowns are a key ingredient to helping New York State rebuild its economy from the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic, as well as to achieving the State’s bold climate goals by promoting the use of public transit and reducing dependence on private vehicles.
The DRI is led by the Department of State, in close partnership with Empire State Development, NYS Homes and Community Renewal and New York State Energy Research and Development Authority.
